"Crossfit Rockwall saved my life"

"Walked through the doors of CrossFit in the worst shape of my life physically and mentally.  The coaches and other clients made me feel welcomed the moment I started.  I can now say I am in the best shape of my life, and CrossFit Rockwall is like a second family to me!" - Paul

"I found Crossfit to be the best approach to fitness that I had found. Three to five hours on a bike was replaced by 1 hour of organized and unique cross training that supplanted the weights, running, and cycling.  Bibi became completely dedicated to CrossFit, becoming someone who never misses the 40 times/3 month All-Star recognition. For the first time it is Bibi who is setting the standard for us and I am trying to keep up! We even find CrossFit boxes when we go on trips out of town and get in a WOD. Along the way we have made new friends and physically have the best overall fitness we have ever had. Crossfit has become the perfect vehicle for our lifelong exercise commitment." - Byron and Bibi

"I joined CrossFit Rockwall 3 years ago, having now worked out for years prior.  I started out training three times per week, but quickly added two more days because I enjoyed it so much.  I've built endurance, mobility, and a lot of muscle, but the biggest benefit to me is how much much training affects my mood and mindset.  The community is amazing, and the friendly competition is so fun!  If a middle aged mom of 5 can do CrossFit, literally anyone can!" - Holly

"I used to do CrossFit before I had my daughter, so when she started going to school I had to get back into it! I tried out another box for a while, but it didn’t feel like my home, so I tried out CrossFit Rockwall. As soon as I walked in the doors I felt so welcomed by the coaches and other athletes. The programming was also on par for what I was looking for and the coaches actually cared about your form. I was sold!" - Kelley

"The initial step of walking into a CrossFit Rockwall was one of the most difficult things I've had to do, but by far one of the best decisions I ever made!" - Heather

"I first came to CrossFit Rockwall back in 2014, but stopped due to some crazy life circumstances.  Finally, in the summer of 2019, I came back.  For me, the main motivators were my children and my health.  When playing and wrestling with my kids caused me to be out of breath, I knew I needed to make a change.  I decided I could either invest in my health now or I could pay for it later.  Why CrossFit Rockwall?  Because I needed something where I knew I would get a great workout without relying on myself to plan it, I needed expert coaching, and I needed to exercise with other people to keep me motivated." - Ricky

"For people looking to start, get in touch with Daniel or Paul. Make an appointment, then walk in the door. Just. Keep. Showing. Up. Your coaches will know what to do with you even if you have no clue. Know that you can do hard things and don’t use your age as an excuse. There are plenty of people in this box your age or older to inspire you. Also, don’t listen to the old-school CrossFit rumors. I have been injury free for the better part of 7 months, something I could never do on my own. I was super scared to start at first too, but at rock bottom, I had no pride and nothing to lose. Lastly, I’m not sure if it’s a Texas thing or if the people at CFR are just extra awesome, but I truly have not met a kinder, more supportive group of athletes and coaches than at this box. I’ve slimmed down a bit and still have a ways to go, but more importantly I have grown to love the journey. " - Tanya

"It might look hard, but do it anyway!  Even on days I'm not in the mood to work out, I'm always so glad to be here and that I showed to put in the work.  Don't be intimidated if you are new to lifting, the coaching staff are so good.  They walk us through each movement, focus on form and technique, and give us feedback on any adjustments we need to make.  When I first started, I never thought I would be able to do it, but now it's something that I look forward to and it is fun!" - Shane
