Box Jump

Do you ever jump just for fun? If not, you should. Jumping is a great way to develop balance,  coordination, agility, accuracy, power and speed. It's a simple movement we all loved to do in our younger days, but unfortunately as we get older, we have less reason to jump around. Why should we start jumping again? Jumping is not only a natural movement, but it's very functional as well. In training, jumping elicits a powerful adaptation and efficiently develops multiple physical skills.

Are you scared to jump? You're not alone. Jumping onto tall objects can be intimidating...you think of tripping, falling, or banging your shins. Here is a great article, written by Lisbeth Darth from CrossFit Watertown, on conquering  your fear of the box jump.
