We just got a climbing rope today! Thanks, Adam, for buying us this magnificent piece of equipment! And thanks, Mike, for doing the stress analysis and installing the attic intercostal.
Climbing ropes is not only fun, but incredibly functional and beneficial as well. You will gain back, forearm, grip and core strength as well as increase your coordination and pulling strength. Our rope also has the added benefit of an obstacle - half way up, you need to navigate through the attic opening! Ours is just over 14 feet high and is a manila rope 1.5 inches in diameter.
There are many different ways to get up a rope. Choose your style and then get climbing!
